Peterborough Cathedral announced this week that it has reached its £410,000 fund-raising target and can go ahead with re-pitching the Cathedral's magnificent late 19th Century Hill organ.
We’ve announced the dates for our three 2015 courses. Pulling Out the Stops, our friendly course for beginning organists or those simply contemplating taking up the organ (typical age range of 10-15) will run in Oundle from 10-12 April. The Summer School, a perennial favourite with young organists from all over the world (typical age range 14-22), will run from 13-19 July, in conjunction with the Oundle International Festival. Tutors and booking information will be announced here in September.
Our new course, OfO Abroad, will run from 14-17 April. This is an exciting course for advanced organists, allowing them to experience instruments in other countries. Our first trip is to Paris!

Oundle for Organists announces the creation of its new Mentoring Programme. This new programme will allow us to further our aim of providing help and support to students all year round, not just on our courses.
The fund will allow us to help young students in financial need to attend our courses. Alan Spedding was deeply committed to helping young musicians, and we are honoured that his family has entrusted Oundle for Organists with this means of carrying on his legacy.
